The 9th edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE), which will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, promises to reach an unprecedented scale. According to the information provided, this major international event will host more than 4,100 exhibitors. This massive participation illustrates the attractiveness of the trade fair, which will see companies from 162 countries and regions gather to showcase their new products. A notable feature of this edition lies in its physical dimensions: the total exhibition area will exceed, for the first time in the history of the fair, the 440,000 square meter mark. This logistical deployment reflects a desire to maintain the CIIE as an essential platform for launching new products and strengthening economic ties on a global scale. While the organization displays great ambitions regarding the volume of transactions and the diversity of products presented, the real impact on bilateral trade flows between China and the various participating regions will remain to be evaluated at the end of these six days of intense economic activity.
